Road trip to visit Siem Reap ( Angkor Wat ) where is the most famouse of one of the 7 Wonder of the World
Itinerary :
Day 1 Bangkok - Siem Reap via Aranyaprathet ( Poi Pet Border )
7.30hrs. pick up from your hotel in Sukhumvit area to Aranyapratet
Visa apply at the border . Lunch own expense
13.00hrs. Leave Border to Siem Reap by joining air-conditioned car
17.30hrs. Arrive Siem Reap check in hotel free at leisure
Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 2 Angkor Tour ( B/D )
Breakfast at hotel . In the morning visit the unique sculptures of Prast Kravan , continue to Ta Prohm one of the area's most beautifule temples , Ta Promh has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery . Its appeal lies in the fact that , unlike the other monuments of Angkor . It was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumpled upon them . Further to Takeo , Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda . Lunch own expense .
Continue to Preah Khan temple built by the King Jayavarman VII , Preah Khan is like Ta Prohm a place of towered enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors . Unlike Ta Prohm , however Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation .Continue to Neak Pean , Ta Som , Eastern Mebon and Pre Rup the mountain-temple until sunset . Dinner provided at local restaurant . Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 3 Angkor Tour ( B )
Breakfast at hotel . In the morning visit South Gate ( with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk ) , the ancient capital of Angkor Thom ( 12th century ) , Bayon temple ( unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitasvara ) , the Royal Enclosure , Phimeanakas , the Elephants terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch own expense . After lunch continue to the most famouse of the temples on the plain of Angkor " Angkor Wat " The temple complex covers 81 hectares .then continue to view a wonderful sunset from the Top of Phnom Bakheng Hill . Dinner own expense . Overnight in Siem Reap .
Day 4 Siem Reap - Bangkok ( B )
Breakfast at hotel . 7.30hrs. pick up from you hotel return to Bangkok via Arunyaprathet across Pot Pet Border . 19.00hrs Arrive Bangkok drop at Phayathai Sky Train or Hualam Phong Train Station .
