Ayutthaya World Heritage Ancient City ( UNESCO World Heritage Centre ) 

 

 

Duration : Full - day ( daily tour ) 06.30-18.00hrs  . Going by bus / returning by Cruise

Historic City of Ayutthaya : Founded in c. 1350, Ayutthaya became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. It was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century. Its remains, characterized by the prang (reliquary towers) and gigantic monasteries, give an idea of its past splendour. The charm of ancient city of Ayutthaya Thailand continues to gain tourists’ attention as a historic attraction. Not only the old moments but also the new things that shine. When it comes to historical buildings, Ayutthaya travel is well known for temples and palaces. But in addition to that, a variety of food is also another magnet. 

Important Note : Proper attire is essential , Shorts , Sleeveless , mini skirt and sandal are not allowed, women please wear skirts or Thai Sarong     


 

ITINERARY : 

07:30 hrs. : Pick up from your hotel in city area  by air-conditioned van ( SIC ) and departing Bangkok to Ayutthaya 

09:00 hrs. : Arrival at Bang Pa-In, visit the Summer Palace of King Rama V with its mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture such as Aisawan Thiphya-At, Warophat Phiman, Wehart Chamrun, etc.

10:30 hrs. : Arrival at Ayutthaya, a World Heritage City and historic capital of Thailand. Visit Wat Mahatad, the royal monastery, served as the residence of supreme monk. Wat Phrasrisanphet, the largest and most important temple. It was used as a residential palace. and  Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit, the large bronze Buddh a image was originally enshrined in the open area outside the grand  palace and later covered by a building called  “ Wihan “

Afternoon by Cruise return to Bangkok : 

13.15hrs. : Welcome on board at Wat Chong - Lom Pier ( Nonthaburi )  Cruising down back along the Chao Phraya River on Grand Pearl Luxurious Cruiser your lunch will be served on board ,  Sumptuous buffet lunch with a choice of a variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served, while you may relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the Chao Phraya River . The cruiser will then head towards Nontaburi, past Koh Kred, The Monn community before reaching Bangkok city.

15:00 hrs.: Coffee will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sights along the River banks such as the colorful Royal Barges House, Thammasart University, Siriraj Hospital, The Royal Grand Palace and the graceful Temple of Dawn, with its magnificent 79 M. spire, Wat Kallayanamitr, one of the most renowned temples.

16:00 hrs. : Arrival and disembark at the River City Shopping Complex Pier.  You’ll be transfered back to your hotel .

17.30hrs. : Arrive back your hotel
